Application Form “CP-Meiji WORLD SPEED COFFEE ART CHAMPIONSHIP 2026”

Applicants must fill in an application form and send their clip of 'Free-Style' free pour latte art. Judges will review applications and select 128 applicants to be eligible for competing in the competition, CP-Meiji WORLD SPEED COFFEE ART CHAMPIONSHIP 2026 @ Thailand Coffee Fest 2026

** Only participants selected for the Top 128 will be required to pay the competition fee of THB 2,000. **

Group Draw Date:

Thursday September 10th, 2026

128 contestants will be divided into four groups: A, B, C, and D with 32 contestants per group. The contestants with the highest scores will be placed in a "seed place" in each group. The rest of the contestants will be randomly drawn into each group.

Competition Details:

Round 1-3 (128 baristas / 64 baristas / 32 baristas)

3.30 minutes for 2 cups of latte art

- Cup #1: Free style 'Any pattern from the World Champions wheel over the past 9 years'

- Cup #2: Random patterns wheel by 5 World-Class Latte Art Baristas | 2026

( 5 signature patterns for 2026, crafted by top-ranked baristas who have participated in the CP-Meiji Speed Coffee Art Championship and the CP-Meiji Barista Camp, celebrating 10 remarkable years of CP-Meiji for Barista.)

* If tie, 2 minutes for 3rd cup from Random Patterns Wheel

Round 4-6 (16 baristas / 8 baristas / 4 baristas)

3.30 minutes for 2 cups of milk beverage and 1 cup of latte art

- Cup #1: 2 cups of milk beverage

- Cup #2: 1 cup of free pour latte art, random patterns wheel by 5 World-Class Latte Art Baristas | 2026

* Preparation 4 minutes

* Milk Beverage served hot with ingredients of 1 espresso shot and milk

Round 7-8 (Third Place / Final)

5.30 minutes for 2 cups of milk beverage and 2 cups of latte art

- Cup #1: 2 cups of milk beverage

- Cup #2: 1 cup of free pour latte art, random patterns wheel by 5 World-Class Latte Art Baristas | 2026

- Cup #3: 1 cup of latte art with designer pattern

* Preparation 4 minutes

* Milk Beverage served hot with ingredients of 1 espresso shot and milk

Rules

♦ Baristas will be randomly paired and drawn into one of the four groups.

♦ In 1st – 3rd rounds (round of 128, 64, and 32), there will be 3 judges.

➤ Barista whose cups are selected by at least 2 out of 3 judges win, and proceed to the next round.

♦ In 4th – 8th rounds (round of 16 until final round), there will be 5 judges — 3 judges for latte art and 2 judges for milk beverage.

➤ Baristas whose cups are selected by at least 3 out of 5 judges win, and proceed to the next round.

➤ Baristas who win round of 4 will compete for the championship title, whereas baristas who defeat will compete for the third place.

♦ Baristas who do not serve the cups according to the order, or exceed the time limit, will be disqualified.

♦ Champion: Cash 100,000 THB and trophy

♦ 1st Runner Up: Cash 70,000 THB and trophy

♦ 2nd Runner Up: Cash 50,000 THB and trophy

♦ 3rd Runner Up: Cash 30,000 THB and trophy
